About our El Monte sunroom contractor business

A white-framed sunroom addition with a peaked glass roof glows warmly beside a blue-sided house, above brick steps and garden beds.

How I came to build sunrooms in El Monte

I grew up on a family farm. Anything that broke got fixed at home, and that's where I learned to build things, mend them and keep them running. After some years on building crews, I started this business here in El Monte in 2017.

Most people who call us have a patio or deck they hardly use and would like to turn it into a room. That's the work we're best known for as a sunroom contractor in El Monte. I plan each room around how your family really means to use it, and I'd rather explain a choice twice than have you surprised later. I watch most closely the spot where our roof ties into yours, because a leak there would spoil the whole room.

What working with us is like

  • One person from start to finish

I come out myself to look at the job, measure and talk it through, and I'm still the one you deal with at the final walkthrough. Our own crew does the building, so the person who measured your patio is the one answering your questions.

  • We check the base before pricing

Before we put a number on anything, we look at the deck, slab or wall your room will rest on, because that decides how much work the job really needs. That way the estimate covers your actual job, and you don't hear about it halfway through.

  • Plain choices, your call

Screen or glass, heated or not, I'll explain what each choice means for how you'll use the room and then let you decide. Nobody here will push you toward a bigger room than you want.

Licenses, insurance and permits

  • Licensed and fully insured

We're licensed and fully insured, and our own crew does the building on your job. In El Monte, the city's Building Department handles plan review, permits and inspection, and when your job needs a permit we prepare that paperwork and keep you posted at each step.

  • Work on public property

If any part of a job reaches onto public property, El Monte's Public Works Department requires a permit before work starts. To get that permit, a contractor shows a valid city business license, a valid contractor license, and liability and workers compensation insurance that names the city as an additional insured.
