Viewcraft El Monte Sunrooms & Patios, elmontesunroomsandpatios.com, hello@elmontesunroomsandpatios.com
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Viewcraft El Monte Sunrooms & Patios handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a sunroom contractor in El Monte, CA, and we collect only what we need to answer your questions, set up an estimate and do the work you hire us for.
It applies to every page of this site, starting with the home page, and to the messages you send us through it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, because those sites have their own policies.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the city or address where the project is, and a description of the sunroom, patio cover or enclosure you have in mind.
The form is run by a third-party form service, so your entries pass through that service before they reach us. We don't ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through this site.
When you call us at (626) 416-2088 or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can follow up on your project.
When you browse the site, we and the tools we use may automatically collect basic technical information. This can include your device and browser type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet connection.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember things between visits. We use them, along with analytics tools, to see which pages people read and where the site could be clearer, so we can improve it.
This information is looked at in summary form. We don't use it to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not behave the same way.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us for the following:
To reply to your message and answer your questions about your project.
To schedule an on-site visit and prepare your estimate.
To plan, carry out and follow up on the work if you hire us.
To keep records of the jobs we've done, which helps if you call us later about warranty questions or a future project.
To understand how the site is used so we can make it more useful.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the website and handle messages, when the law requires it, or when you ask us to, such as passing details to a supplier for your job.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and project notes for as long as we need them to answer your request, finish your job and keep reasonable business and tax records. When we no longer need them, we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.
If you reached out but didn't book a project, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
We limit access to your information to the people who need it to handle your project, and we use reputable services to run the site and the contact form. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information sent online will never be intercepted, but we take reasonable care with it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to do any of the following:
Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that's wrong or out of date.
Delete your information, unless we need to keep it to finish a job you've hired us for or to meet a legal obligation.
Stop contacting you about anything other than an active project.
We'll respond to your request within 1 business day to confirm we've received it, and we won't treat you any differently for making one.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for homeowners and adults planning home projects. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
